Last week I had the pleasure of attending the LA Film Festival and Ghosting Vol.10 in LOS ANGELES!
It was amazing.
Everything LA Film Festival related was just. Amazing. The staff. Amazing. The volunteers. Amazing. The films/filmmakers. AMAAAZING. They were all super supportive and appreciated my film I Love You So Much. I thank you LA FF for making me feel like a queen. It has truly inspired me to make more films/art knowing I have such a supportive group behind me. Thank you.
Ghosting. What’s Ghosting? The coolest monthly curated experimental animation show EVER. If you are ever on the West Coast, specifically the LA region, I highly suggest attending this hip event. It is basically an amazing party celebrating a selection of artists. They play about 15 minutes of the artists work and then there’s time to talk about the art and reflect. I had the pleasure of playing my films with some really talented people, even my friend/RISD alum pal, Caleb Wood! I also drank honey whiskey from a bottle because I am a badass. They also had ongoing 16mm weird films and experimental 3d animation playing outside so if anyone got bored from the amazing inside selection of artists, they could meander outside and watch some amazing demented stuff! THANKS GHOSTING AND YOUR PROGRAMMING SKILLZ!
PS my hair stole the show in the LA Times!
I am very happy to say that I will be animating some CRAZY 2D stuff for this groovy Adult Swim Pilot that’s produced by John Krasinski and Directed by Daniel Stessen. It is a great show. Stay tuned for some psychedelic shizz!

Ghosting is a monthly hang out for experimental animators and video artists.
“…Because everyone needs a lil’ fantasy”
Each month, we present work from a carefully curated selection of artists. This is not a traditional screening, it’s more like going to a show. Work is presented in 15 minute sets, with breaks in between so you can discuss, absorb, and get to know your neighbors! Venue opens at 8, screenings start shortly after, and we keep the party going until everyone leaves (usually around 2). Come and hang out! Network with your peers OFFLINE in a chill environment, enhanced by your favorite spirits.
Join me and lets have a hoot!

Thanks Nathan! Respect!
because this website put my holiday film, Fruitcake on it. It is a site that is completely devoted to FRUITCAKE!!! SO COOL!
And so I attended another AMAZING film festival, the Rincon Intl. Film Festival.
Puerto Rico is freaking amaazing. The natives are super friendly, the food is to die for and the scenery is also to die for. I died a lot there. In the best way.
The festival staff are incredible supportive and they really take care of the filmmaker that attend. I felt like a Puerto Rican Goddess. The filmmakers were super sweet, and the film program was very well programmed with themed nights from Fright Night to Romance Night (my film, I Love You So Much was in that night, which I found to be hilarious because it is a bizarre take on ‘romance’)…all very good. The films always played outside with a breathtaking view of either the ocean with palm trees or some tropical background. I actually felt like I was in a movie watching movies. It was a surreal amazing experience everything from showing my film to meeting amazing programmers and filmmakers and even natives. If you are a film enthusiast I would serious suggest making a trip to Puerto Rico to attend this amazing little festival that I hear is growing significantly every year!
OH! Also. My film, I Love You So Much won BEST FICTION SHORT FILM!!! HUZAAAH!
On to more fests and making films!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADY GAGA!!! I made this rad thang for Mother Monster in about 4 days. ENJOY!
I was recently apart of a panel at SVA called Animation Domination. My pals Lizzi Akana, Alan Foreman and Michelle Higa were also apart of it. It was fun and informative and we talked a lot about animation and Ke$ha and more…

I Love You So Much will be playing at the Rincon International Film Festival in Puerto Rico and the Floirda Film Festival in April! I will be attending the Rincon International Film Festival in Puerto Rico! Come say hola to me and my date, my mom!
I got this tumblr thing all the cool kids have been talking about. There are about three posts. I linked it to this site as well because that is how I roll and also because I am lazy.

It has come to my attention that my alma mater, RISD wrote a little blurb in their magazine about me. NICE. I also like that they mention that Indie Wire named my face when it was FIlmmaker Magazine. Get it straight RISD, get. It. Straight.

I am honored to announce that I am an official animation judge for the Chicago International Film Festival 2013. It is one of my favorite festivals in general and I cannot believe I get the honor to judge the crap out of films. I love this. I hope to do more of this in the future! HUZZAAH! ! ! ! !
Also. I believe judges should be given crowns to signify their judgyness. Something like this is preferred:
This past weekend I attended the Animation Block Party here in classy Brooklyn. It is a favorite festival of mine and everyone who attends is severely talented. There is also corn at the Habana Outpost. Best weekend. I was also mentioned in the Wall Street Journal. FAME.
Have you heard of that hip, new cool band called Grouplove? Oh good. Watch this teaser thing I animated for them. Holler Ace N Son.
I am honored to say that I am one of those 25 new faces. The article doesn’t say it, but I thank Jonathan Seligson and Michaeala Olsen for their dedication and help in OLD MAN and of course my extremely supportive super producer, Carl D’Andre. xoxoxoxo

FULL HEADSHOT SHOT BY THE TALENTED MICHAEL LANGAN!!!!
A lot is happening with stuff. Stuff I cannot talk about. Stuff I can. So I will.
RECENT Awesome things that have happened for me and my art stuff:
1. MEATWAFFLE, my RISD 2009 Undergrad Thesis was inducted into the Sundance Permanent Collection at the UCLA Film Archive. Pretty rad. I am honored.
2. The short viral thang I directed and animated for VICE/Warner Bro’s. Project X Party Legends: Big Sean got accepted into my FAVORITE film festival ever: the Ottawa International Animation Festival. Prepare yourself Canada. I am coming. For your beaver tails. I made this thing in 2-3 days and went insane. And then I too partied.
3. I was interviewed by my pals at Frenzer Forman Animation and CartoonBrew:
4. I met and talked to at length, mr. David Duchovny. He is still seriously good looking.
If things keep getting this fabulous I might just blow up. Like literally. Scanners style.
Stay tuned friends!
Thanks Joel Frenzer and Alan Forman! They are a hoot!
